About us

Based in Boston and Los Angeles, Centerprising serves the needs of the global business family community for achieving multi-generational wealth creation success. We focus on immersing business families in innovation, cultivating their rising generation wealth creators, and curating connections among business families globally for long term collaboration.

For Wealth Creators of all ages, we combine insights with self-reflection and peer sharing. We provide tools for action planning to champion innovation and to create meaningful dialogue around global disruptions. As we build a global community of leaders, we are building bridges between generations.

Our Founding Team

Led by business longevity expert Florence Tsai, our team of veterans includes Silicon Valley innovators, Future Forward investors, Hollywood creatives, industry executives, and business strategists + advisors worldwide. We have come together to build a Family Wealth Creation platform to guide Wealth Creators in effective action planning and curated collaborations to fast track success. Our platform is powered by branded content in Florence Tsai’s 2019 book, Phoenix Rising, plus incorporating expert knowledge from leading universities globally.

FLORENCE TSAI

FOUNDER AND MANAGING DIRECTOR

Florence leads design of our wealth creation journeys. She oversees the Centerprising team and manages key relationships. She holds an A.B. in Economics from Harvard College, an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Her career path led from Goldman Sachs, McKinsey & Co. and Cambridge Family Enterprise Group to Centerprising, which she founded in 2019.

Todd Thaxton

CO-FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR

Todd is Director at Centerprising. In this capacity, he leads strategic planning, engagement with family enterprises. Previously, he served as Executive Director, Global Partnerships and Development at the Columbia Center on Global Energy Policy. Thaxton is a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy and serves on its Homeland Security and China Committees. He is a member of the Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle. He holds his MPA from Columbia University with a focus on energy policy and international finance. Both his MBA and BA are from the University of Southern California.
